SO… you’ve found our site, and thought “this looks wild” who could these travellers be? Well, let me introduce you to ‘Amy & Jordan’, also known as the Wild Oz Travellers!
Brisbane and Gold Coast babies who have been moving through life as one for the past 3 years, working full time for far to long, with backgrounds in the hospitality and tourism industry, and both have a spark for adventure!
Jordan is your typical Aussie bloke, with a side of dutch and Amy is still figuring out her role in her own story. Together, we both love the outdoors, adventure, camping and country music!
We have decided to take on the adventure of a lifetime and explore the beauty that Australia has on offer and what better way than by road. Over the coming months we will be packing our 2 story townhouse up into 2 duffle bags, 1 camper trailer, 1 car and a whole bunch of supplies we are yet to go shopping for. Our main goal at the moment is, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! We have been reading SO many blogs about how to live on the road with a budget, so hopefully I will have it down by the time we go.
What’s our plan? Our plan is, “we have no plan” – not sure if that’s the most economical and logical way to go but we feel once we’re on the road the wind will take us in the right direction, hopefully avoiding those dead end roads, am I right?
Thanks to Black Series Camper Trailers we have found our home for the next six months, say hello to the Dominator. We choose the forward-fold option for the extra space and seating in the ‘club lounge’ on those rainy evenings and that extra comfort. We’re ready to put her name to the test, first stop Cape York!
NB: The car in the picture (not our car), Jordan’s PJ Ford Ranger was getting some work done while we headed out to Birdsville in July 2017 for the Big Red Bash.. thanks mum, the FJ did well!
